About me

Hello and welcome from me!

Jo Hatch  BA (Hons),  PGDip,  MSc

Fully qualified animal behaviourist, pre-certified CCAB and provisional member of the APBC. 

I have had a passion for animals since early childhood. Although my degree and postgraduate diploma led to a long and successful career supporting, helping and educating humans, animals remained my passion and an important part of my life. This has included owning and running a livery yard at home, as well as running courses and training supporting owners and their animals.

This passion to help people, as well as ‘problem’ horses and dogs, resulted in my decision to become an animal behaviourist, graduating from the MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare in Newcastle University in 2018. I am a member of the APBC, who represent behaviourist that have achieved the highest proven academic and practical standards available in the field of companion animal behavioural therapy, and am working towards full accreditation.

I am is based in Bridgend, south Wales and offer both digital and face-to-face consultancies. Online consultations and training are available to everyone, regardless of location.
